The child-friendly, well-tended, beautiful, wide sandy beach “La Rubina” is approx. 1500 m away and can be reached by car in approx. 5 minutes. The main beach and the center with shops, bars and restaurants are approx. 2000 m away. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the center via the pedestrian bridges over the canals.
Pharmacies and doctors can be reached in about 5 minutes by car.
Activities
For active athletes there are opportunities for kide surfing, windsurfing, jet skiing, diving, parachuting, tennis, golf, mini golf, an aguapark, a cardan railway and much more along the entire coast.
Only in a few places in the world you can go on a mountain hike or ski in the morning and swim, fish or sail in the sea in the afternoon. The high peaks of the Canigó or the “la Molina” ski station can be reached from us in around 2 hours. Closer is the nature reserve “L´Albera”, the gentlest section of the Pyrenees, the foothills of which sink into the sea and in Garriguella you can visit the turtle breeding center.
On rainy or cloudy,day you should to do a trip to Butterfly Park of Castello d `Empuries or a visit to the indoor pool in Roses is worthwhile. the indoor pool / sports center offers the opportunity for fitness training, swimming, saunas or relaxing in the jacuzzi.
The tourist centers offer some bus tours, e.g. to Barcelona, Girona, Montserrat Monastery etc.
In Roses you can take a day trip to Cadaqués by catamaran.
Every Saturday there is a popular, colorful market on the beach promenade!
